Claude subagents

A subagent is a markdown file under agents/ that gives Claude Code a named specialist with its own prompt, model and tool allow-list. A surprising number of the ones published on GitHub carry no frontmatter at all, which means Claude Code never registers them no matter how good the prose is. That is the first thing checked here, and it is what most of the low scores on this page are.
