A/B-compare two chat models on fire_seq_search_server's two LLM-driven endpoints — /ask (multi-source synthesis, streamed) and /highlight (single-source extraction, one-shot). Boots the server twice (once per model) reusing the same index and summary cache so retrieval is identical; for each test question runs /ask, then takes the top retrieved chunk and runs /highlight against that same chunk. Reports verbatim outputs for both endpoints side-by-side so the caller can judge synthesis and extraction quality independently. Use when the user wants to evaluate a chat-model upgrade or a quantization swap.
