Teaches how to elicit analytics requirements from stakeholders before any metric, dashboard, or report is built — starting from the decision the metric must inform, not the metric itself. Covers the requirements-elicitation template (decision → metric → data source → cadence → owner), a six-point vanity-metric detection checklist grounded in Croll & Yoskovitz's actionable-vs-vanity-metric framework (including a cohort-analysis check for retention/stickiness metrics), a clarified distinction between the One Metric That Matters and this repo's North Star Metric, and traceability from analytics requirements to OKRs. This is the analytics discipline's discovery step — it precedes `dashboard-specification`, `reporting-spec`, and `metrics-instrumentation-plan`. Includes scripts/scaffold-analytics-requirements.sh and scripts/validate-analytics-requirements.sh. Used by the data-engineer during Data.
