The content layer for a Next.js 16 site — plain @next/mdx for a handful of long-form pages (root mdx-components.tsx is mandatory, pageExtensions must include md/mdx, @next/mdx pinned to the next version), content-collections or velite for typed collections at scale, zod v4 frontmatter schemas, long-form prose styled from SYSTEM.md tokens instead of default gray prose classes, and Shiki code blocks highlighted at build inside RSCs (zero client JS). Contentlayer is dead and never an option. Invoke during the backend phase when the brief calls for a blog, docs, changelog, case studies, or any markdown-driven content, when choosing between MDX-in-repo and a headless CMS, or when article pages render as unstyled or default-gray prose. Trigger phrases — "add a blog", "MDX pages", "docs section", "markdown content", "frontmatter", "content collections", "style the article page", "syntax highlighting", "code blocks", "do we need a CMS".

Put this measurement in your README
A badge carrying how many listings this index holds from the repository and how many pass every static structural check. It reads from this index every time somebody loads your page, so it changes when the measurement changes and there is nothing to keep up to date. Free, no account, and the value is not something you or we can set by hand.
[](https://skillworks.kynth.studio/?q=blyatiful1%2Fultraweb)Would rather not hotlink us? Every badge is also served in shields.io’s endpoint schema, so shields renders the image and your readers never talk to our domain:
Published by Toolproof, the masthead over this index and eight others. The method behind the number is at toolproof.kynth.studio/methodology, and the whole thing is readable as JSON with no key at /api.
